The Shepherd We Need: Discovering the Messianic Model of True Leadership

True leadership is not power over people—but service rooted in truth, righteousness, and obedience to God.

In a world of self-serving rulers and empty promises, who is truly fit to lead? The answer is not found in power—but in obedience, service, and truth.

This article reveals the biblical pattern of true leadership based on the teachings of Jesus in Matthew and John, the wisdom of James, and the promises of the prophets. It contrasts false authority with the Messianic model—a shepherd who serves, speaks truth, and walks in righteousness.

Throughout history, humanity has searched for leaders who can guide with wisdom, justice, and truth. Yet time and again, leadership has been corrupted—turned into a tool for control, gain, and recognition.

So the question remains:
Who is truly fit to lead?

The answer is not found in modern systems, titles, or popularity. It is found in the enduring pattern revealed through the Scriptures—within the teachings of the historical Jesus, the testimony of John, the instruction of James, and the prophetic voice of the Hebrew Scriptures.

These do not present leadership as domination—but as responsibility before God.

Paul’s Imaginary Jesus vs The Historical Jesus’ Gospel of the Kingdom

Paul’s Imaginary Jesus vs The Historical Jesus’ Gospel of the Kingdom

Throughout history, no figure has shaped Christianity more than Paul—yet the Jesus he preached was strikingly different from the historical Jesus of Nazareth. While Jesus proclaimed the Gospel of the Kingdom, calling for repentance and obedience to God’s law, Paul introduced an imaginary Jesus—a cosmic Christ whose death and resurrection became the sole path to salvation. This shift transformed Christianity from a faith rooted in God’s rule on earth to a religion centered on grace and personal belief. A reinterpretation that overshadowed the authentic teachings of the historical Jesus.

Paul’s vision of his imaginary Jesus revolutionized Christianity by crafting a cosmic Christ who promises salvation through grace and belief, overshadowing the radical, earthbound teachings of the historical Jesus. Watch now! Truth awaits.

SPIRITISM OF ALLAN KARDEC

Allan Kardec's Spiritism has become a widely accepted philosophy, captivating many individuals who seek a deeper meaning. In the following stanza, Kardec introduces a powerful principle that he believes can guide anyone toward greater understanding and fulfillment, ultimately leading to the significant advancement of the human spirit. He eloquently shares what he considers an accurate and illuminating definition of Spiritism.

 As can be read below

Quote

"In Spiritism, there are no dogmas, priests, cults, rituals, sacraments, obligations, and worship. Spiritism is based on three pillars: science, philosophy, and morality, and it is firmly founded on the divine and perfect teachings of Jesus. It declares that Jesus is not God, as the gospel clearly states. But a spirit in a state of high degree came to the world to promote the spiritual development of man by teaching them love as the fundamental law."

Unquote

In his teachings on Spiritism, Allan Kardec articulates a vision of belief free from the confines of dogmas, priests, cults, rituals, sacraments, obligations, and formal acts of worship. However, a different narrative emerges as we delve into the rich tapestry of practices exhibited by various Spiritists throughout the archipelago. It becomes increasingly apparent that many of these groups engage in rituals, observe specific doctrines, and sometimes even adhere to leadership figures akin to priests.

This intriguing inconsistency raises essential questions about Spiritism's true essence: Can it be free of dogmas, priests, cults, rituals, sacraments, obligations, or structured forms of worship, or are these elements woven into its practice beyond the original teachings?

Regarding this matter, Spiritism practices throughout the archipelago and potentially in other countries are as follows.

1. The Catholic Church's foundational teachings, encapsulated in its dogma, are presented clearly and convincingly.

2. Intriguingly, signs of cult-like influences reveal themselves through the powerful orations—often viewed as spells—cherished by many members of the spiritist community.

3. Various significant rituals, such as baptism and healing ceremonies.

4. The Catholic sacrament centers around Jesus, revered and recognized as God.

5. Engaging in various services comes with specific obligations, including associated and identification fees.

6. Most importantly, worship of God is deeply rooted in the profound doctrine of the Trinity, guiding believers in their devotion and spiritual journey.

7. Lastly, veneration and display of images of Jesus, Mary, and Catholic Saints.

Is it true that the spiritist brotherhood we discussed is actively involved in spiritism, reaching out to connect with the spirits of the deceased and delving into the mysteries of the unknown, or could their actions be a cover for their Roman Catholic influences? It makes one wonder how this differs from the unpleasant customs of the Gentiles, who are often noted for not following the laws of the one true God in heaven.

Furthermore, how accurate is Allan Kardec's claim that his teachings significantly enhanced Spiritism by seamlessly blending scientific insights, the depth of philosophy, and the guidance of moral principles?

Allan Kardec's Spiritism emerged from humanity's inherent knowledge, which, when clarified, aligns with principles found in human sciences, philosophy, and morality. In other words, it is not based solely on a pure form of Spiritism, but instead reflects the opinions of Allan Kardec and his companions.

In this regard, not a single member of the brotherhood mentioned above can explain spirituality in a way that describes it using terms like science, philosophy, and morality.

Because these concepts arise purely from human understanding, they cannot be applied effectively. Moreover, they do not resonate with the profound teachings of great Spiritism, which is associated with the one true God in Heaven. Primarily, when their basis relies solely on Allan Kardec's viewpoint and the insights obtained from the mediums they recognize.

Allan Kardec asserted that spiritism has its foundations in God and embodies the ideal teachings of Jesus.

If this is true, we must ask why Allan Kardec's Spiritism diverges so significantly from the teachings of Christ. For example, Christ emphatically stated the concept of "two births" in John 3:5-7, while the Spiritism Allan endorsed dismisses this fundamental teaching in favor of the doctrine of reincarnation.

Allan did not convey authentic Spiritualism rooted in Christ's profound Teachings; instead, he advocated for a version heavily influenced by his subjective perspective. This significant divergence raises serious questions about his integrity, suggesting that Allan may be perceived as a liar and a deceiver.

Allan Kardec asserted that Jesus is not God, as clearly stated in the gospel.

Allan Kardec declared that Jesus was an elevated spirit, embodying profound wisdom and compassion, who came to our world with a vital mission. His purpose was to inspire the spiritual advancement of humanity by imparting the timeless message that love is the foundational law governing existence. Jesus sought to illuminate the path toward a more harmonious and compassionate life through his teachings.

However, the recognized teachings of spiritists throughout the archipelago and overseas conflict with this doctrine. They adhere to the dogma of the Catholic Church, which references the Trinity of Constantine.

Allan Kardec's five books are widely regarded as the foundational texts for spiritists. However, Filipino spiritists often do not acknowledge his teachings, which assert that Jesus is not God. Instead, they tend to uphold the Catholic Church's dogma regarding the Trinity, placing more emphasis on this doctrine than on Christ's teachings.

CONCLUSION

The KARDEC teaching is based on theoretical studies, while the CHRIST teaching is grounded in actual events, including eyewitness accounts. We wish Allan had researched the teachings mentioned earlier before presenting his theories. Then, his opinion would not have been contrary to the actual events when the Spirit of God (Holy Spirit) lived and ruled in Jesus's wholeness with vigor and power.

Each of us has the liberty to navigate our unique journey through life, exploring countless paths that resonate with our desires. Yet, it brings us immense joy to illuminate a path we believe is profoundly righteous and transformative—the enlightening teachings of Christ.

This path invites you to discover a richer sense of purpose, deeper connections, and fulfilling peace by daily embracing Truth, Light, Love, Strength, Labor, and wisdom.

Following the divine inspiration of the Holy Spirit, we present a unique portion of Christ's profound and transformative teaching, commonly known as the Gospel of the Kingdom. This message offers profound insights into the nature of faith and the path to salvation.

May all individuals be continually graced with the overflowing blessings of the one God of heaven, who embodies truth, light, love, strength, labor, wisdom, and life itself.

 Until next time, take care.
